Yeah, when I added the Calendar Web Part to a Page using custom code I it’s not behaving as it should meaning none of the views work, no events shown, all you see is the today’s date highlight really??? So whats causing this?
Add below script to ascx and it should work as expected, its a bug and it’s not fixed in Dec CU 2013 and yeah I know if you disable v4rendering it will work but looks like crap :(.
