By default, the Organization Browser web part works only on the My Site host. If you add the web part to any other page in a different web application, it will not work.
It will work only within the same web application as My Site, which is not a best practice, since it’s recommended to keep the portal and My Site in separate web applications.
For SharePoint 2010, you could use Adam’s method as explained here, but that approach does not work for SharePoint 2013.
This solution does not work in SharePoint 2013 because SharePoint 2013 uses claims authentication by default.
To make it work, just add the script below to the page, immediately after the Organization Browser web part.
Add a Content Editor Web Part, click the Source button in the ribbon, and add this code:
