PowerShell Scripts SharePoint Online

By | May 17, 2017

So now we are moving to Office 365 what will happen to all my PowerShell scripts?
The answer varies, SharePoint PnP is coming along but not all commandlets are available. So to get the things going we need to use CSOM in PowerShell, yes right CSOM in PowerShell and it’s not straight conversion there are few things we need to consider before, and below is small example and recommendations from community experts.

Chris O’Brien explained pretty much what I need to cover, but long story short, can we convert all the PS scripts to CSOM and the answer is YES, we can and it works perfectly but how do I schedule it? that’s something that need more focus as it’s not easy to schedule in Office 365, but we can use something like Azure Web Jobs to get it done and below links talk about it.
